The premium Smartphone sector is witnessing intense competition with brands like Oneplus and Oppo upping the ante by unveiling various models in a short period. Samsung, which is an old-time player in this segment, is in no mood to let them race ahead. The South Korean giant released the flagship Galaxy S 10 and 10 Note not so long ago. Both the devices received good response and helped Samsung retain its supremacy. However, Samsung is not content and wants to retain the lead. That is why a new leak of its upcoming Galaxy S 11 model has been doing rounds online. The S11 is reportedly coming with several advanced features and beefy hardware inside. Samsung is also going to equip it with new fast-charging technology- as per the updates.
The FCC application by Samsung is there to indicate that the Galaxy S11 launch date is not far. Through the new leak, the device’s headline features have been revealed. The S11, which is listed as the SM-G9860, will be a 5G handset, and that is only natural. It will have 25 Watt fast charging tech-which is a step-up of the 15 Watt tech found in its predecessor. However, the USP of this device will be its imaging module. The device will sport a lens with enhanced zooming capability, say the industry insiders. This camera will have new shooting modes too. Even the battery capacity will be higher than the predecessor-indicates of the new leak.
Another report that has surfaced online on the S11 indicates that the device will have a brand new display. It is likely to come with a high end 120 Hz screen. This will enable Samsung to take on rival Oneplus, which is using the same technology. The S11 will likely come in a few variants with one Plus and another Lite version in the pipeline. However, not all variants will be launched at the same time. The flagship device is going to be launched with Android 10.0, and it may get S-Pen support.
